Sara Rasekhi, OD

Sara Rasekhi, OD, is a certified optometric physician who focuses on managing ocular diseases, fitting custom contact lenses for keratoconus, and myopia control at West Broward Eyecare Associates. She is an investigator in a myopia study and a Change Agent for Cooper VIsion’s nationwide Myopia Collective Program.

Dr. Rasekhi earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University. She received a Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University where she completed an externship at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. She graduated from her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System in 2019 and continued on to work in private practice.

Dr. Rasekhi is the Past President of the Palm Beach County Optometric Association and an active member of the Florida Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Originally from Miami, Dr. Rasekhi enjoys traveling, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
